Yes, it's more likely than you'd think - the remake is being rewritten!

Now hold on, put your pitchforks down. I know I said I was almost done with the remake. And honestly, I was content leaving it there even if I had my own criticisms with how I did things. But! I... lost the files. Long story, short version is; blame my ADHD.

So, I'm taking this time to completely rewrite the remake from the ground up. Sprites and backgrounds are upscaled with an AI image upscaler known as waifu2x, so as to give better quality to them.

The main menu also resembles the original Harvest December much more closely now. For now, it's not much - but it's WAY better than before.

Everything will still be included in this rewrite. CGI gallery, soundtrack, the works. But for now, I'm going to only focus on writing the story first. I programmed myself a couple of tools to make rewriting this a whole lot painless. I may not have the original code for the remake, but in the two days I've been working, I've already made more progress than I did in the first week of the remake's progress!

So, we're starting over. Hope you don't hate me too much. I promise this won't take long!
